Hitachi Plant Construction has built an extensive track record of total plant services worldwide from carrying in and installing various equipment, such as plant equipment and other heavy goods and temporary equipment, and planning through construction. We contribute to seamless lifting plans and designs at the headquarters and on construction sites as well as greater on-site operational efficiency and safety through our proprietary lifting simulations using 3D-CAD and MR devices*.
*MR device is an acronym for mixed reality devices. These devices are equipped with and integrate Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) technologies.
Hitachi Plant Construction provides total services from the planning and design to construction of lifting and installation of ultra-large heavy machinery, such as nuclear power plants and substations.
Lifted Delivery Design for a Large Module
Lifted Delivery of Large Module (650-ton Class)
Hitachi Plant Construction developed a proprietary lifting simulator using MR technology and projects to display these simulations on tablets and wearable devices. Functions to overlay 3D models over real spaces and real simulations taking into account weight using physics calculations achieves a lifting simulator for narrow spaces, which contributes to more efficient plans and greater operational safety on site.

Hitachi Plant Construction creates three-dimensional designs using portable and stationary laser measurements even for modifications and replacements of existing plants and other facilities without blueprints from the initial construction or CAD drawings. The generation of 3D data can check for any interference between existing and new equipment when drafting delivery plans.

Plans to Carry In Equipment Using 3D-CAD Software
Hitachi Plant Construction has brought together a broad line up of large, medium, and portable band saws that it has developed as fire-free cutting equipment to address diverse customer needs.
We provide safe and highly efficient technologies from planning through execution of fire-free cutting for everything from small pumps to large and long objects, such as turbine rotors and generator stators.
S-COM is a project management platform developed by Hitachi Plant Construction to handle all processes from construction estimates to budget and construction management.
The platform shares data collected from various sensors and devices set up on site with the construction site, headquarters, and other bases to visualize budgets and progress without any time lag. This contributes to more efficient management, including timely progress support.
