Substations in Japan

Our substation business in Japan focuses on power companies and private enterprises (industrial facilities) in an effort to contribute to the construction of ultra-high voltage Gas-Insulated Switchgear (GIS) substations, frequency converter stations, and other facilities from planning and design through production and installation, as well as the preventative maintenance from modifications through renewal work.
We also work in the field of effective high-voltage direct current distribution to enhance the power resilience of Japan and strengthen the power links between regions.

Substations Overseas

Hitachi Plant Construction focuses primarily on ODA projects, power companies and overseas enterprises (industrial facilities) in the Middle East and Africa. We contribute to not only the installation of conventional substations, ultra-high voltage Gas-Insulated Switchgears (GIS), and other primary equipment but also overall construction from planning and design through production and installation of foundations, buildings, and other such structures.
