As a member of the Hitachi Group, Hitachi Plant Construction practices sustainability in the Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG) fields advocated by Hitachi, Ltd. For the environment, we will contribute to businesses in the energy sector to realize a carbon-neutral society. For society, we will fulfill our social responsibilities by actively participating in local community efforts as a member of communities where Hitachi Plant Construction has offices. For governance, we will aim to enhance corporate value by establishing a compliance system, preparing internal control systems, and striving in education and various other initiatives in all other fields.

Environment Policy

Hitachi, Ltd. energy sector contribute to both a better Quality of Life (QoL) and a sustainable society through energy, nuclear power, and power grids businesses.
That is why we are driving forward initiatives throughout the entire value chain that help realize a carbon-neutral and highly circular society.
To achieve a carbon-neutral society, our production activities as well as products and services aim to become carbon neutral by 2030 and 2050 respectively.
To realize a highly circular society, we will continue our work to promote circular economy businesses and eco-friendly designs as well as reduce the waste produced as a byproduct of our production activities.
These initiatives will take into account the products and services provided by Hitachi Plant Construction as well as the processes and relationship with the environment. We will also work to continually improve our environmental management systems, observe all laws, regulations, and other requirements, and prevent pollution of the surrounding environment.
